The only difference here is that this splendid setting is well within the reach of Namibians. In fact this new billion dollar development is right on Namibia’s doorstep and already going full steam ahead with construction, just a few kilometres from the harbour town of Walvis Bay.
The man at the helm of this ‘first of its kind’ N$1,2-billion stretch of exclusive accommodation and hotel venture, is well known Walvis Bay entrepreneur John Savva (Chairperson Walvis Bay Chamber Commerce) who says his project is in fullswing, and is expected to provide more than 500 direct jobs to the local market while building is underway.

Already the banks of some 1,000 palm trees recently planted to enhance the beauty of the surroundings, and the long stretch of prime beachfront property currently under construction is unfolding into something spectacular. Taking shape are the interlocked roads, services which are expected to be completed by October 2008 and layout for the start of building early in 2009.

“We hope the entire development will be completed within the next four years,” said Savva.”
