Smallholding with incredible potential

The potential of this exceptional 12.08-hectare smallholding is undeniable—offering the perfect blend of small-scale farming, tourism opportunities, tilapia production, and community-focused hospitality. Ideally located approximately 15 km from Swakopmund and bordering the Swakop River, this property is perfectly positioned for both lifestyle and income-generating ventures.

The property is fully serviced with municipal water, ensuring a reliable supply, complemented by a brackish borehole fitted with a new pump. Three JoJo tanks, with a combined capacity of 30,000 litres, provide ample water storage. Electricity is supplied via 3-phase power, and the entire boundary is securely fenced, with an electric main access gate. All buildings and outbuildings are individually metered for water and electricity, supported by main supply meters for the property as a whole.

The main dwelling is uniquely designed in a square, with a large covered central courtyard, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor flow. The home offers five bedrooms, two of which are en-suite, along with two additional bathrooms. Living areas include an open-plan kitchen and lounge, complemented by both formal and informal dining rooms. An office, laundry, garages, and workshop all lead off the central courtyard, enhancing functionality and convenience.

Upstairs, a standout feature awaits—an expertly crafted entertainment room built from a combination of Araucaria, Leadwood, and Pine. This inviting space offers breathtaking views of the iconic Moon Landscape, making it ideal for hosting or relaxing.

Outdoor living is equally impressive, with a swimming pool and Lapa forming the heart of the entertainment area, complete with wind-protection sails for year-round enjoyment.

Accommodation is further expanded by three flatlets: two offering two bedrooms each with private yards and carports, and a third one-bedroom unit with its own carport—perfect for guests or rental income.

Staff accommodation comprises two converted containers, thoughtfully designed as living quarters and enclosed for privacy. The property also includes multiple storerooms, a cold room, and a substantial workshop large enough to accommodate two small aircraft, complete with its own ablution facilities.

Adding even more value is a fully functional restaurant with bar and private garden—an ideal space to serve guests or the surrounding community.

For agricultural ventures, the property features eight ponds previously used for tilapia farming, presenting significant potential for revival or expansion.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a versatile, income-generating property in a sought-after coastal location—perfect for those with vision.
